Snowy roads, traffic delay violations stall ConocoPhillips megaloads

As predicted there have been lots of problems, though they will most certainly get the first load through eventually-

Snowy roads, traffic delay violations stall ConocoPhillips megaloads. By Kim Briggeman. Missoulian.

There is a rumor that future loads might be routed to use Interstate 90 and 15 which would present far fewer technical, congestion, and environmental problems.  However, being an Interstate highway the loads would have to first be broken down to a much lower height because of the overpasses.

How ironic, poetically pathetic, irksomely sad, that the general public runs around worrying about 10 j and the four legged wolves, when it should be more concerned about chapter 13 (bankrupcy of our natural resources) of the two legged corporate wolves circling in the shadows. As is often the norm, the main herd is mostly concerned more about finding that next blade of grass than keeping a watchful eye on what lurks in the dark.

As it is, the wolves of real concern are circling ever closer, picking off the resisters, tightening up the herd, inching toward the kill. In case the animals in the middle haven’t heard the alarm, wake up, the wolves are gaining, pay attention, look beyond the grass. While a few wolves are now rolling over Lolo, lets work at reducing/eliminating their numbers, rather than the natural predators that actually do belong to the landscape, before it is too late.

Don’t just keep eating grass, look around, take a stand to support fish and wildlife habitat, landscape integrity, and the natural economy that can be a sustainable base for much cleaner industrial economy. Big Oil, is the real Big Bad Wolf, with an appetite just as Big and just as Bad. Be a part of the resistance, rather than assistance.
