Pacificorp is owned by Berkshire Hathaway, whose chairman and CEO is Warren Buffet. Each of the eagle deaths is punishable by up to $15,000 in fines and up to six months in jail. Wouldn’t it be nice if the CEOs of lawbreaking companies had to do some jail time. 38 eagles at six months each of jail time, for CEO Warren Buffet, would encourage his company and other companies that violate similar laws to be more careful in the future. I wonder how much jail time an individual that killed 38 eagles would serve.
