Bald Eagle count is up at Lake Coeur d’Alene

Good news on North Idaho bald eagles-

Bald eagle count rises sharply in northern Idaho. AP

For those not familiar with North Idaho, Lake Coeur d’Alene is a large and deep lake in Idaho’s Panhandle area.

    I was up in that area on the 2nd of December and I can say, I saw more bald eagles than I have ever seen in the past, there was one section right as you come into coming into Sandpoint on Lake Pend Oreille that there were 11 adult Bald Eagles sitting next to each other on the shore of the lake!
